Suites & Arena Overview
Philips Arena, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is home to the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Atlanta Dream of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). When not in use by one of Atlanta’s professional basketball teams, the building frequently serves as a major concert venue. The Atlanta landmark has welcomed more than 23 million patrons through its doors since opening in 1999.
The facility is owned by the Atlanta-Fulton County Recreation Authority, managed by Atlanta Hawks, LLC (a collection of investors that owns the Hawks), and operated by Arena Operations, LLC.
Philips North America Corporation is the title sponsor with venue naming rights. In 1999 the company paid a then-record $180 million for the naming rights. Notable events hosted at Philips Arena include the 2003 NBA All-Star Game, 2004 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, 2008 NHL All-Star Game, and 2013 NCAA Men’s Final Four. The venue has also played host to concerts by likes of Sir Elton John, Madonna, and Imagine Dragons.

Total capacity of all suites: 2,072
Host to more than 200 events each year, Philips Arena offers a multitude of entertainment options. Many VIP seating areas and private luxury boxes are available only through annual or multi-year leases; others can be booked on a per-event basis. Philips Arena can accommodate groups and parties of various sizes. Suite types for sale include:
- Executive Suites: Level A (1-21); Level B (1-21); Level C (1-18); Level D (1-18) (seat 16-20)
- Hospitality Suites: A-D (located behind sections 101 and 107) (seat 8-24)
- Party Suites: A-E (located behind sections 201, 202, 206, and 207) (seat 20-120)
Philips Arena offers executive suites on four different levels (see interactive seating chart - http://philipsarena.io-media.com). The venue’s layout is in contrast to many of its contemporaries, with luxury suites and Club Level seats aligned solely along one side of the court and general admission seating along the other three sides.
Five suites are designated as “Party Suites,” which are typically better suited to large groups and are often available for a single game (as opposed to full season leases). Food and beverage is not included in the cost of an executive suite lease. Dedicated VIP parking is included in the purchase of a suite. In addition to the listings publicly displayed on the SuiteHop Marketplace, we are often able to help clients secure both private and Party Suites through our offline network.
Private Rentals & Suite Ticket Prices
Premium full suite rentals for popular games and special events typically fall within the range of $2,800 to $6,000, depending on the size and location of the luxury box. The same suites for lower demand games and events can often be reserved for half the price. Individual suite tickets are comparably priced to seats in the Club sections or other desirable areas at Philips Arena.
Party Suites and Hospitality Suites rent for $4,500 to $17,500 per event and typically include the cost of food and beverage in the purchase price. Philips Arena Party Suites and Hospitality Suites also include five VIP parking passes and access to the arena’s private Georgia’s Own Credit Union Club.
Annual Suite Leases
Full-season Executive Suite leases are available directly from the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Dream at Philips Arena. The cost of an annual suite lease ranges from $120,000 to $260,000. Lease terms are offered in three, five, seven, and ten year installments. Suite owners with annual leases are allowed to buy additional non-suite tickets, as well as 4 to 6 Standing Room Only (SRO) suite tickets per game.
Renting a Philips Arena Suite Through SuiteHop
Pricing on SuiteHop is market-based, with suite owners determining the price at which they choose to list. The list price is a reflection of availability, the popularity of the event, the exact location of the suite, whether or not catering and parking passes are included, and the suite owner’s choice of selling their suite in its entirety or by the individual seat, among other factors.
Benefits of buying through SuiteHop may include...
- access to suites that are not otherwise available elsewhere, including when the event is sold out,
- ability to purchase individual tickets within suites,
- market-based pricing can be below box office pricing,
- transparent, real-time online pricing and ordering, and,
- availability of full event planning services including ticket distribution, RSVP/invitation management, celebrity appearances, branded promotional/gift items, dedicated in-suite concierge service, and more!
Renting a Philips Arena Suite Through The Venue
Pricing through the box office is determined by team and/or venue management. Suite pricing is not typically published online and often requires offline contact with a sales representative. Large “Party Suites” sometimes sell individual tickets as part of a shared environment, while private suites usually require purchase of the entire space.
Benefits of buying through the venue may include…
- full year and multi-year suite leases only available through venue,
- venue pricing that is sometimes below marketplace pricing, and,
- a direct relationship with the venue for access to future promotions.
Suite Amenities & Design Features
Philips Arena suites are configured with extra wide, leather, theater-style seats and bar stools. A wet bar, refrigerator, ice maker, and marble countertops come standard in all suites, as well as three high definition flat screen televisions and local internet access. All suites are climate-controlled with great views of the game action.
Approximately half of the Philips Arena suites are equipped with in-suite restrooms. In-suite catering and host/hostess service is available for an additional charge. The purchase of a suite also includes access to the arena’s private Georgia’s Own Credit Union Club.
Suite Access & Additional Meeting Spaces
Philips Arena includes numerous conference rooms for use during non-event times for an additional fee. Most conference rooms can accommodate up to 40 guests and include audio and visual equipment. The venue’s Comcast Business Zone includes typical conference room amenities, with the added bonus of HDTVs and a view of the Philips Arena court. A Comcast Business Zone conference room rental also includes food, beverage, and parking in the total purchase price.
Non-event day access to the suite as well as conference center space pricing is based on the particular day of use and specific needs of the suite holder.
Suite owners, renters, and guests are invited to enter their suite via special VIP entrance through the Credit Union Club up to 60 minutes before a Hawks or Dream game. Concert attendees may enter their suite up to 90 minutes before a show. Suite occupants may remain in their suite up to 60 minutes following an event’s conclusion.
