Colorado Rockies FAQs

Your top Rockies questions answered

The Rockies are a major league baseball team based out of Denver, Colorado. They play in the National League West division. Experiencing a Rockies game from a luxurious private suite gives your group the opportunity to mingle and network while watching the game from the best vantage points in the stadium.

Due to the elevation, Rockies games at Coors Field are known for being one of the most hitter-friendly ballparks in the League. Bring your glove because foul balls often land on the suite level!

The Rockies won their only National League West division championship in 2007, and made it to the World Series, only to be swept by the Boston Red Sox in four games.

Historically, Denver had never had a professional major league baseball team until the MLB wanted to expand by two teams in 1991, and joined the Florida Marlins with that expansion. The Rockies name was chosen due to the proximity of the nearby Rocky Mountains, and their opening season was in 1993. Coors Field had yet to be built, so they played their first two seasons at the neighboring Mile High Stadium (home of the Denver Broncos.) Their colors are black, purple, and silver. Their mascot is a triceratops named Dinger, who was chosen as the mascot because workers found many dinosaur fossils dug up on the site of Coors Field. The dinosaur mascot was in homage to that legacy.

How many suites are available for Rockies Games?

Coors Field has 64 total suites available for baseball games and special events. Each private suite can hold between 10-24 people, depending on the suite location and level. Large groups may be best suited to the Super Suites or party areas that can seat up to 100 guests per event.

What amenities can I expect in my suite?

Colorado Rockies suites are beautifully furnished with leather couches and cherry wood finishes. Suite ticket holders can enjoy the game from the stadium seating outside the suite or sit at the high-top bar and bask in climate-controlled luxury from inside the suite.
