Suites & Arena Overview
American Airlines Center, located in Dallas, Texas, is home to the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). When not in use by one of the Dallas sports teams, the building frequently serves as a concert venue.
American Airlines Center is owned and operated by Center Operating Company, L.P. (a joint venture between the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars). Mark Cuban, Tom Hicks, and Ross Perot Jr. are the principal owners of Center Operating Co. The arena is the cornerstone of Victory Park, a 70+ acre urban space.
American Airlines, headquartered in nearby Fort Worth, Texas, is the title sponsor with venue naming rights. Notable events hosted at American Airlines Center include the 2007 NHL All-Star Game, UFC 103 and 171, five PBR bull riding events, and games during the 2006 and 2011 NBA Finals. The venue has also played host to concerts by the likes of Madonna, Cher, Metallica, Beyoncé, Garth Brooks, and Lady Gaga.
Suite Seating Options
Total suites: 144
Individual suite capacity: 12-32
Total capacity of all suites: 2,656
Host to more than 200 events each year, American Airlines Center offers a multitude of entertainment options. Many VIP seating areas and private luxury boxes are available only through annual or multi-year leases; others are available for rent on a per-event basis. American Airlines Center can accommodate groups and parties of various sizes. Suite types include:
- Flagship Suites: 1101-1164 (seat 12-18)
- Platinum Suites: 1201-1218 (seat 12-22)
- Admiral Suites: 1301-1356 (seat 12-32)
- Party Suites (seat up to 50)
Suites for sale at American Airlines Center are located on three separate levels. Level two Flagship Suites are closest to the court or ice. Level three Platinum Suites are located at the baseline. Level four Admiral Suites wrap around the top floor of the entire arena.
Five suites are designated as “Party Suites,” which are typically better suited to large groups, are often available for a single game (as opposed to full season leases), and include food and beverage in the cost. In addition to the listings publicly displayed on the SuiteHop Marketplace, we are often able to help clients secure both private and Party Suites through our offline network.
Private Rentals & Suite Ticket Prices
Premium full suite rentals for popular games and special events typically fall within the range of $3,500 to $8,500, depending on the size and location of the luxury box. The same suites for lower demand games and events can often be reserved for half the price. Individual suite tickets are comparably priced to seats in the Club sections or other desirable areas at American Airlines Center.
Annual Suite Leases
Full-season and half-season leases are available directly from American Airlines Center, ranging from $225,000 - $400,000 for full season leases and $125,000 to $195,500 for half-season leases. These leases include tickets to all Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars games, and occasionally include tickets to concerts and other major events. Lease terms are typically offered in five, seven, and nine year terms. Suite owners with annual leases are allowed to buy six additional non-suite tickets, as well as four Standing Room Only (SRO) suite tickets per game.
Renting an American Airlines Center Suite Through SuiteHop
Pricing on SuiteHop is market-based, with suite owners determining the price at which they choose to list. The list price is a reflection of availability, the popularity of the event, the exact location of the suite, whether or not catering and parking passes are included, and the suite owner’s choice of selling their suite in its entirety or by the individual seat, among other factors.
Benefits of buying through SuiteHop may include...
- access to suites that are not otherwise available elsewhere, including when the event is sold out,
- ability to purchase individual tickets within suites,
- market-based pricing can be below box office pricing,
- transparent, real-time online pricing and ordering, and,
- availability of full event planning services including ticket distribution, RSVP/invitation management, celebrity appearances, branded promotional/gift items, dedicated in-suite concierge service, and more!
Renting an American Airlines Center Suite Through The Venue
Pricing through the box office is determined by team and/or venue management. Suite pricing is not typically published online and often requires offline contact with a sales representative. Large “Party Suites” sometimes sell individual tickets as part of a shared environment, while private suites usually require purchase of the entire space.
Benefits of buying through the venue may include…
- full year and multi-year suite leases only available through venue,
- venue pricing that is sometimes below marketplace pricing, and,
- a direct relationship with the venue for access to future promotions.

Catering & Concierge Services
Attendees at American Airlines Center events may not bring food or beverages into the arena. Suite holders and guests have access to restaurants, bars, and concession stands throughout the arena, as well as complete food and beverage service provided by Levy Restaurants. Additional parking passes can be purchased for $20 each, subject to day-of-event availability. Valet service is not available.
Each American Airlines Center suite comes with two high definition flat screen televisions equipped with DirecTV satellite service and live, in-progress feeds of Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars games. The arena is also equipped with wireless internet service.

Luxury suite holders at American Airlines Center have access to multiple bars and restaurants on the Platinum level.
Of note, two Audiclub lounge bars on the South Platinum Level offer a wide range of beer and cocktails. The Red Bull bar on the Northwest Platinum Level, designed by Joel Mozersky, boasts geometric furniture and plush surroundings. Also on the Platinum Level, the Chef’s Corner offers a wide variety of local favorites, including fried chicken and ribs.
