The Rexall Place has 62 suites including Sky Suites (12-20 guests) and Main concourse suites (24 to 34 guests). Many of these VIP seating areas and private luxury boxes are available only through annual or multi-year leases; others can be booked on a per-event basis or by purchasing smaller packages. In addition to climate-controlled comfort, multiple seating options, and early entry, the suite experience at Rexall Place allows fans access to VIP parking passes, premium catering, in-suite concierge service, and a host of other amenities. Suite seating prices vary widely, with premium full suite rentals for popular games and special events typically starting at $10,000 to $12,000 depending on the size and location of the luxury box. The same suites for lower demand events sometimes can be reserved for half the price.
Edmonton Oilers Team Information
The Edmonton Oilers compete in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference in the National Hockey League (NHL). They are based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and play their home games at the Rexall Place. The Oilers were founded in 1972 and joined the NHL in 1979. Their original owner, Bill Hunter, named them after a junior hockey franchise he also owned called the Edmonton Oil Kings. Since joining the NHL the Oilers have won the Stanley Cup 5 times between 1983 and 1990. For their success in the 1980s, the Oilers team of this era has been honoured with dynasty status by the Hockey Hall of Fame. The Oilers most famous players both past and present include Shawn Horcoff, Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Paul Coffey, Andrew Ference, and Taylor Hall.
