Suites & Arena Overview
American Airlines Arena, located along Biscayne Bay in Miami, Florida, is home to the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). When not in use by the Heat, the building frequently serves as a concert venue.
The facility, known to locals as “AAA” or “A-cubed,” is owned by the Miami Sports and Entertainment Authority and operated by Leisure Management International.
American Airlines is the title sponsor with venue naming rights. Notable events hosted at American Airlines Arena include the 2006, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 NBA Finals, MTV Video Music Awards, numerous World Wrestling Entertainment events (including Raw, Rumble, Survivor Series and Uncensored) and UFC 42: Sudden Impact from the Ultimate Fighting Championship series.

Host to more than 120 events each year, American Airlines Arena offers a multitude of entertainment options. Many VIP seating areas and private luxury boxes are available only through annual or multi-year leases; others can be booked on a per-event basis. American Airlines Arena can accommodate groups and parties of various sizes. Suite types for rent and for sale include:
- Center Court Suites (seat 12-16)
- Loge Suites (seat 4-10)
- Founders Suites (seat 16-20)
- Hyde Suite (seats up to 32)
- Party Suites (seat 18-80)
Four American Airlines Arena suites are designated as “Party Suites,” which are typically better suited to large groups, are often available for a single game (as opposed to full season leases), and sometimes include food and beverage in the cost. Private Rentals & Suite Ticket Prices
Premium full suite rentals for popular games and special events typically fall within the range of $5,000 to $20,000, varying widely based on the size and location of the luxury box. The same suites for lower demand games and events can often be reserved for half the price. Individual suite tickets are often comparably priced to seats in the Club sections or other desirable areas at American Airlines Arena.
Party Suites at American Airlines Arena typically begin at $7,000 per event and often include food and beverage in the cost.
Annual Suite Leases
Full-season leases are available directly from the Miami Heat at American Airlines Arena, ranging from $165,000 to $375,000 per year. Lease terms are offered for three, five, seven and ten year commitments. Suite owners with annual leases are generally allowed to buy additional non-suite tickets, as well as up to four Standing Room Only (SRO) suite tickets per game.

Renting an American Airlines Arena Suite Through The Venue
Pricing through the box office is determined by team and/or venue management. Suite pricing is not typically published online and often requires offline contact with a sales representative. Large “Party Suites” sometimes sell individual tickets as part of a shared environment, while private suites usually require purchase of the entire space.Benefits of buying through the venue may include…

Suite Amenities & Design Features
American Airlines Arena suites are configured with extra wide, theater-style seats and bar stools. A wet bar, refrigerator, and ice maker come standard in most suites as well as two plasma flat screen televisions, Playstation 3 game console and local internet access. All suites are climate-controlled, with great views of the game action. Private restrooms are located in common areas outside of the individual suites.
Center Court suites include a private exterior teak deck and dedicated butler. Loge and Founders suites include in-seat food and beverage service. The Hyde suite comes with its own server, fully-stocked bar, bartender and black snakeskin-wrapped theater seats – a must see. American Airlines Arena features an American Airlines logo on its roof, visible from airplanes taking off and landing at nearby Miami International Airport.
Suite Access & Additional Meeting Spaces
American Airlines Arena includes a multi-use executive boardroom, conference rooms and press box for use during non-event times. Suite owners, renters, and guests are invited to enter their suite through elevators located in the American Airlines Garage up to 90 minutes before the event and stay up to 60 minutes after the event’s conclusion. Non-event day access to the suite as well as conference center space is available, with pricing based on the particular day of use and specific needs of the suite holder. On event days, those holding suite tickets are also able to use Club areas throughout American Airlines Arena.
The Waterfront Theater at American Airlines Arena, available for commercial and private rental, is Florida's largest theater and can seat between 1,000 and 5,800 guests. The facility includes a ceiling-to-floor acoustic curtain, proscenium stage, theatrical lighting, carpeted aisles and chandeliers. This state of the art concert and performance venue also includes access to dressing rooms, a production office, media room and house sound/lighting systems.
Catering & Concierge Services
Attendees at American Airlines Arena events may not bring outside food or beverages into the venue. Please see the arena’s Frequently Asked Questions page and A to Z Fan Guide for complete details. Suite holders and guests have access to restaurants, bars, and 42 concession stands operated by Levy Restaurants.
American Airlines Arena also has two Flagship Lounges, recently renovated for $3.5 million, which feature full bars and upscale dining options from Executive Chefs Danny Elmaleh, Michael Lewis and Dena Marino. The chefs’ menus boast saffron-spiked lobster paella, rib-eye steaks and blood-orange flan, significant upgrades over traditional sports hospitality offerings. Center Court and Hyde suite guests can take advantage of dedicated butlers while Loge and Founders suites ticket holders receive in-seat food and beverage service.
American Airlines Arena features on-site reserved parking for premium seat ticket holders (amount of VIP parking passes vary per event for single game renters and annual suite leaseholders). The American Airlines Garage, accessible from the South side of the building, accommodates suite ticket holders. Valet service is available in front of the Hublot Gate 4 entrance on the North side of the building.
American Airlines Arena suites are equipped with two plasma flat screen televisions, Playstation 3 game console, Bluetooth keyboard, HD DVD and Blu-Ray disc players and Wi-Fi internet access.
Well appointed restrooms are located in common areas outside of the individual suites at American Airlines Arena.
The Dewar’s Clubhouse, located on the suite level, can accommodate 250 seated guests or up to 400 cocktail guests. This upscale lounge and bar offers plush executive-style furniture and a beautiful view of the arena’s interior. The Clubhouse features an in-house premium sound system/dance floor and can be accessed via elevators 1/2 or 7/8 to the suite level or via escalators by sections 101 and 124.
The arena’s East and South outdoor plazas, which can accommodate up to 2,500 guests, offer spectacular views of Biscayne Bay and downtown Miami. Located on the event level, the North and South Flagship Lounges feature a formal dining room and lounge area for up to 250 guests. The 1,400 square foot Hyde suite and nightclub features posh décor, intimate table seating and state-of-the-art sound/lighting. Personalized parties in the Hyde suite can be designed by an American Airlines Arena Event Specialist to include DJ entertainment, bottle service and catering.
