Suites & Stadium Overview
The Mercedes-Benz Superdome, located in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, is home to the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL), college football’s Sugar Bowl, and the New Orleans Bowl. When not in use by the Saints, the building frequently serves as host to Super Bowls, NCAA college football Playoff and National Championship games, and marquee concerts.
The facility is owned by The Louisiana Stadium and Exposition District and managed by SMG, an affiliate of American Capital Strategies, Ltd.
Mercedes-Benz USA is the title sponsor with venue naming rights. With a diameter of 680 feet, the Mercedes-Benz Superdome is the largest fixed dome structure in the world.
Notable events hosted at the Superdome include seven Super Bowls (XII, XV, XX, XXIV, XXXI, XXXVI, XLVII), five NCAA Men’s Final Fours, WrestleMania XXX, the 1988 Republican National Convention, and events headlined by likes of Pope John Paul II, Johnny Cash, Bob Hope, Raquel Welch, Charlie Daniels Band, Aretha Franklin, The Rolling Stones, and Beyoncé.
Following Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the Mercedes-Benz Superdome sheltered approximately 30,000 refuges, subsequently closing for several months due to intense structural damage.

Private Rentals & Suite Ticket Prices
Premium full suite rentals for popular New Orleans Saints games and other premium events are typically offered for single game sale between $12,000 and $21,000, depending on the size and location of the luxury box and the Saint’s opponent. For example, Sunday, Monday, and Thursday night professional football games tend to be more expensive than Sunday afternoon games. The same suites for lower demand non-NFL events can often be reserved at a significant discount. The Superdome does not currently rent or offer individual (shared) suite tickets.
Annual Suite Leases
Full-season leases are available directly from the New Orleans Saints at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, ranging from $73,000 to $200,000 for a full season, excluding the cost of tickets. Annual tickets cost about $25,500 each. The actual price will depend on the suite’s size, location, and lease terms. Lease terms are offered for three, five, and seven year commitments. Suite owners with annual leases are generally allowed to buy additional non-suite tickets, as well as four to eight Standing Room Only (SRO) suite tickets per game. Half-season or partial-season leases are not being offered for sale at this time.
Renting a Mercedes-Benz Superdome Suite Through SuiteHop
Pricing on SuiteHop is market-based, with suite owners determining the price at which they choose to list. The list price is a reflection of availability, the popularity of the event, the exact location of the suite, whether or not catering and parking passes are included, and the suite owner’s choice of selling their suite in its entirety or by the individual seat, among other factors.
Benefits of buying through SuiteHop may include...
- access to suites that are not otherwise available elsewhere, including when the event is sold out,
- ability to purchase individual tickets within suites,
- market-based pricing can be below box office pricing,
- transparent, real-time online pricing and ordering, and,
- availability of full event planning services including ticket distribution, RSVP/invitation management, celebrity appearances, branded promotional/gift items, dedicated in-suite concierge service, and more!
Renting a Mercedes-Benz Superdome Suite Through The Venue
Pricing through the box office is determined by team and/or venue management. Suite pricing is not typically published online and often requires offline contact with a sales representative. Large “Party Suites” sometimes sell individual tickets as part of a shared environment, while private suites usually require purchase of the entire space.
Benefits of buying through the venue may include…
- full year and multi-year suite leases only available through venue,
- venue pricing that is sometimes below marketplace pricing, and,
- a direct relationship with the venue for access to future promotions.
