Suites & Stadium Overview
Moda Center, located in Portland, Oregon, is home to the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The arena also hosts the Portland Winterhawks of the Western Hockey League (WHL) and Portland State University’s men’s basketball team, the Vikings. When not in use by one of these teams, the building frequently serves as a concert venue and host to family shows.
Moda Center is owned by Vulcan Inc., a holding company owned by Paul Allen. It is operated by Anschutz Entertainment Group and AEG Live. The venue was formerly known as the Rose Garden, and is celebrated for its “acoustical cloud” – a set of 160 rotating acoustic panels suspended from the ceiling to help amplify crowd noise.
Moda Health, an insurance company based in Portland, Oregon, is the title sponsor with venue naming rights. Notable events hosted at Moda Center include NBA Western Conference Finals games in 1999 and 2000, the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in 2005, National Lacrosse League All Star Game in 2007 and first/second-round games of the NCAA men's basketball tournament in 2009. Notable performers to take the Moda Center stage include Jimmy Buffett, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift.

Host to more than 140 events each year, Moda Center offers a multitude of entertainment options. Many VIP seating areas and private luxury boxes are available only through annual or multi-year leases; others can be booked on a per-event basis. Moda Center can accommodate groups and parties of various sizes. Suite types for rent and for sale include:
- Executive Suites (seat 12-22)
- Party Suites (seat up to 50)
Moda Center features all of the amenities expected in an NBA arena. The $267 million venue has two levels of newly-renovated premium seating and multiple party suites, which are typically better suited to large groups, available for a single game (as opposed to full season leases) and sometimes include food and beverage in the cost. The arena’s party suites can be combined into a single space to accommodate very large groups. In addition to the listings publicly displayed on the SuiteHop Marketplace, we are often able to help clients secure both private and party suites through our offline network.
Private Rentals & Suite Ticket Prices
Premium full suite rentals for popular Portland Trail Blazers games and special events typically fall within the range of $8,000 to $18,000 per day depending on the size and location of the luxury box. The same suites for lower demand games and events can often be reserved at a significant discount. Individual suite tickets are comparably priced to seats in the Club sections or other desirable areas at Moda Center. Four garage parking passes are included with the rental of each suite. Suite renters may also purchase additional tickets anywhere in the arena (where available) and up to six Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets to fill out the suite. Food and beverage is not typically included in the base rental price.
Annual Suite Leases
Full-season leases are available directly from the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center, ranging from $85,000 to $210,000 per year. Lease terms are offered in one, three, five, and eight year commitments. Suite owners with annual leases are allowed to buy additional non-suite tickets, SRO suite tickets and parking passes as needed. The cost of food and beverage is not included in the lease of a Moda Center suite.
