Suites & Arena Overview
Petco Park, located in San Diego, California, is home to Major League Baseball’s (MLB) San Diego Padres. Petco Park is named after the pet supply retailer Petco, which is based in San Diego and has secured naming rights until 2026. Beyond the left field foul pole, the Western Metal Supply Building houses the team store on the first floor, party/luxury suites on the second and third floors, and a restaurant on its fourth floor.
Petco Park is owned by the City of San Diego and the Padres, LP and is operated by the Padres, LP.
Notable events hosted at Petco Park include the 2006 and 2009 World Baseball Classics, Monster Jam, the AMA Supercross Championship and the 2016 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. Interestingly, the ballpark played host to baseball games in which Barry Bonds hit his 755th home run (tying Hank Aaron's MLB record) in 2007 and a 2010 Toronto Blue Jays game that was interrupted by a 5.7 magnitude earthquake.
Notable artists to take the Petco Park stage include The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift. Television shows to film at the ballpark include American Idol and The Next Iron Chef.

Host to approximately 90 events each year, Petco Park offers a multitude of entertainment options. Many VIP seating areas and private luxury boxes are available only through annual or multi-year leases; others can be booked on a per-event basis. Petco Park can accommodate groups and parties of various sizes. San Diego Padres suites for rent and for sale include:
- Premier Club Suites (located on the Field Level) (seat up to 20 guests)
- Toyota Terrace Suites (located on the Terrace level) (seat up to 8 guests)
- Tower Loft Suites (overlook 1st and 3rd base) (seat up to 20 guests)
- Western Metal Building Suites (located beyond left field) (seat up to 200 guests)
Petco Park features luxury suites located on three different levels. The venue also boasts a number of spacious party suites, which are typically better suited to large groups, available for a single game (as opposed to full season leases) and sometimes include food and beverage in the cost. In addition to the listings publicly displayed on the SuiteHop Marketplace, we are often able to assist clients secure both private and party suites through our offline network.
Private Rentals & Suite Ticket Prices
Premium full suite rentals for popular games and special events typically fall within the range of $1,800 to $2,800 per day, depending on the size and location of the luxury box. The same Padres suites for lower demand games and events may be reserved at a discount. Individual Padres suite tickets are comparably priced to seats in the Club sections or other desirable areas at Petco Park. Multiple VIP parking passes are included with the rental of a San Diego Padres suite (number depends on size of suite). Suite renters may also purchase tickets anywhere in the stadium and additional Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets to fill out their Padres suites. Food and beverage is not typically included in the base rental price.
Annual Suite Leases
Full-season leases are available directly from the San Diego Padres at Petco Park, ranging from $50,000 to $150,000 per year. Lease terms are typically offered in commitments which range from one to five years. Suite owners with annual leases are allowed to buy additional non-suite tickets and parking passes as needed. The cost of food and beverage may not be included in the lease of San Diego Padres suites.
Renting a Petco Park Suite Through SuiteHop
Pricing on SuiteHop is market-based, with suite owners determining the price at which they choose to list. The list price is a reflection of availability, the popularity of the event, the exact location of the suite, whether or not catering and parking passes are included, and the suite owner’s choice of selling their suite in its entirety or by the individual seat, among other factors. Renting a Petco Park Suite Through The Venue
Pricing through the box office is determined by team and/or venue management. Suite pricing is not typically published online and often requires offline contact with a sales representative. Large “Party Suites” sometimes sell individual tickets as part of a shared environment, while private suites usually require purchase of the entire space.Benefits of buying through the venue may include…
- full year and multi-year suite leases only available through venue,
- venue pricing that is sometimes below marketplace pricing, and,
- a direct relationship with the venue for access to future promotions.
Suite Amenities & Design Features
Padres suites at Petco Park are configured with extra wide, theater-style seats and bar stools. A wet bar, refrigerator, sofa, and ice maker come standard in all suites, as do multiple HD televisions and local internet access. Padres suites are climate-controlled, with great views of the game or concert action. Private restrooms are located inside most San Diego Padres suites; well-appointed restrooms are also located in common areas outside of the individual suites.
Suite Access & Additional Meeting Space
Petco Park includes a multi-use executive boardroom, conference rooms and press box for rent during non-event times. Non-event day access to the suite as well as conference center space is available, with pricing based on the particular day of use and specific needs of the suite holder (venue typically requires advanced notice). Padres suite owners, renters, and guests are invited to enter their suites through special VIP entrance up to 90 minutes before the event and stay up to two hours following the event’s conclusion (suite entry is located between the Home Plate and Park Boulevard Gates). On event days, those holding San Diego Padres suite tickets are also able to use Club areas throughout Petco Park.
The stadium’s press box features television booths, radio booths, multiple HDTV’s and a buffet area – ideal for San Diego Padres-themed business functions.
Catering & Concierge Services
The San Diego Padres permit guests to bring food into Petco Park for individual consumption as long as the items are consumed in the general seating or designated picnic areas. Outside food cannot be brought into any restaurant, club lounge, or suite. Please see the venue’s Entry Policies or Prohibited Items page for complete details.
Suite holders and guests have access to restaurants, bars, and concession stands throughout the ballpark, as well as premium catering and in-suite concierge service (for an additional charge). Food and beverage service is provided by Delaware North Sports Service.
In addition to Delaware North’s upscale offerings, Petco Park features several area-based food establishment concession stands, including: La Cantina Bar, Randy Jones BBQ, Bumblebee Seafood, Hodad’s Mercado, and Cardiff’s Seaside Market.
Petco Park offers on-site parking for San Diego Padres suite ticket holders via the adjacent Lexus Premier Lot. Please see the ballpark’s parking lot map for further details. Valet service is not available at this time.
Each San Diego Padres suite is equipped with multiple HD televisions and local internet access.
Private restrooms are located inside most San Diego Padres suites; well-appointed restrooms are also located in common areas outside of the individual suites.
Located behind the centerfield fence at Petco Park is a two-level “social space,” inspired by San Diego’s beach lifestyle. Added before the 2016 season and modeled after Southern California’s picturesque beach piers, this unique gathering spot features sand, pilings, and decking constructed from recycled composite wood.
The Western Metal Supply Building, located beyond the leftfield wall, houses the team store on its first floor and is fitted with an opening which allows standing room only fans to enjoy a baseball game. Located on the second and third floors of the warehouse are Padres party and luxury suites. A restaurant is located on top floor of the Supply Building, where more than 800 bleachers also provide breathtaking views of the cityscape.
