Suites & Stadium Overview
CenturyLink Field, located in Seattle, Washington, is home to the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL) and Seattle Sounders FC of Major League Soccer (MLS). When not in use by one of these Seattle sports teams, the building frequently serves as a concert venue and host to family shows.
CenturyLink Field is owned by the Washington State Public Stadium Authority and operated by First & Goal, Inc. The stadium’s 760 foot long roof contains 5,700 tons of steel – equal to 35 Statues of Liberty.
CenturyLink, Inc. is the title sponsor with venue naming rights. Notable events hosted at CenturyLink Field include NFC Wildcard games in 2004, 2006, 2007, and 2010, and NFC Division and Conference Championship games in 2005, 2013 and 2014. Notable musical performers to take the CenturyLink Field stage include The Rolling Stones, U2, Metallica, Taylor Swift and Seal.
The crowd at CenturyLink Field is notoriously loud during Seahawks games. Fans set a then-Guinness World Record for loudest crowd noise at an outdoor stadium on December 2, 2013, during a Monday night game against the New Orleans Saints, with a roar of 137.6 decibels.
