Suites & Stadium Overview
Rogers Centre, located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is home to the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). The stadium was the former home of the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and temporary home to the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). When not in use by a Toronto sports team, the building occasionally serves as a concert venue and host to family shows.
Rogers Centre is owned by Rogers Communications and operated by the Rogers Stadium Limited Partnership. Rogers Centre is equipped with the world’s first fully retractable roof (which is the height of a 31-story office building when closed).
Rogers Communications, which owns the Toronto Blue Jays, is the title sponsor with venue naming rights. Notable events hosted at Rogers Centre include the 1992 and 1993 World Series, WrestleMania VI and WrestleMania X8, the 95th Grey Cup, the 43rd Vanier Cup, the 2009 World Baseball Classic and the 2015 Pan American Games. Notable musical performers to take the Rogers Centre stage include Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones and Madonna. It has also hosted many public speakers, including appearances by the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela and J. K. Rowling.
